At the moment there is no limit to how many communities a member can claim. That being said, once you claim the community you ARE responsible for adding as much data as possible into the community fields. If you claim multiple communities and do not input enough data within a month of owning the community, your spot as community ambassador can be replaced.

Your name, face and contact information will be some of the first information that a potential buyer sees when looking up properties within your community. Additionally, our domain's strong reputation helps this community page to rank highly on Google, Bing and other dominant search engines, meaning that your name, face and contact information, when the page is filled out properly, will be shown as one of the top search results. This means you'll get interested leads that are looking for properties in your city, town or community.

What real estate news and content do consumers want to know about? Local events, delicious restaurants, things to do, etc. within a given community. Our new community feature is a first step to developing a community marketing approach. Consumers that are not an agents' friend do not care about what an agent is up to nearly as much as they care about where they want to move. Nobody outside of your sphere of influence is excited to follow a FB/Meta Business page about [enter your name - the Real Estate Agent], but thousands of people would be excited to follow a business page about where they live!

Claiming a community is absolutely free to all MyStateMLS, NYStateMLS or State Listings members! If you claim your community now, it will remain free, however, as the demand for this product continues to grow, and as the leads continue to flow - we may introduce an additional cost to members who have yet to claim their community.

All content on your community page should be unique content that you have collected yourself. You or an associate should take all photos uploaded into the platform, all videos, and write unique community descriptions and details for each page. Not only is this important for copywrite law, but unique content will perform significantly better in search results so you will get more leads and more exposure with unique content.
