A native of Hokes Bluff, Alabama, Drew earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forest Engineering from Auburn University. Drew recently retired from the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources with over 26 years of experience where he managed, bought, and sold recreational timberland for the Department’s Wildlife Management Area System. He is also an Air Force veteran with service during Desert Shield/Desert Storm.
Drew is a Registered Forester in Alabama (AL #1614), Alabama Certified Prescribed Burn Manager, Alabama Commercial Applicator, and member/past chair of the Alabama Prescribed Fire Council.
Drew and his wife Ericha live on an old dairy farm in Macon county with their three dogs. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, gardening, and canning produce from their garden.
