Mike Martien, Jr. joined the National Land Realty team of Land Professionals in January 2024. Born and raised on a third-generation family farm, Mike was raised with integrity and a strong work ethic while fostering his love for the unique and renewable characteristics offered by land. Since receiving his bachelor’s degree in agri-business, Mike has amassed 30 years of professional experience in a variety of roles. His knowledge of production inputs, business development, management, marketing, strategy, lending/finance, ag-tech, and the developing carbon offset/sustainability markets allow him to stand out as a Land Professional. An avid outdoorsman and landowner, he has personally implemented and/or evaluated USDA/NRCS programs, land management/enhancement practices, and wildlife/habitat restoration. His experience and skills add significant value to his clients looking to buy land for commercial development, timber, agricultural production, hunting, or recreational enjoyment. Mike and his wife Kim have been married for 27 years. They enjoy spending time with their kids, family, and friends in addition to being active members of the First Baptist Church in Rayville. In his free time, Mike enjoys hunting, fishing, and improving his land.
