Dan Hertzog joined National Land Realty in January 2021. Dan has had a passion for the outdoors and hunting all of his life. He grew up on a farm helping his father and grandfather farm and raise cows. When he graduated from high school, he pursued his dream of being a farmer. After 10 years, he left the farming business in the mid-1980s to go work full-time in construction. He soon started his own construction company and has run a successful business for the last 25 years, doing masonry restoration and waterproofing. He also managed a hunting ranch for 14 years and has enjoyed the experience of hunting throughout the country, as well as abroad. In 2015, Dan and his wife bought a farm in Fristoe, Mo., where he now manages the land for quality game. At the farm, they enjoy hunting and fishing with their children and grandchildren. After 30 years in construction, he is now putting his background in and passion for land into practice as a Land Specialist.
In his free time, you can find Dan hunting, fishing, planting food plots, or raising cattle. Dan and his wife, Elona, have four children, three granddaughters, a black lab named Caley, and a french bulldog named Ruger.
