About Dan Chen
As a native New Yorker, Dan Chen brings an efficient, fun, and balanced approach to the real estate market. His family has collectively bought and sold multiple condos and single-family houses in the NYC area, so Dan understands the significant personal investment of time and money his clients dedicate when buying, selling, renting, or leasing their home. His passion and enthusiasm for learning about his clients' individual needs and lifestyles enables Dan to help them reach their goals, and to get results.Dan is a graduate of Regis High School on the Upper East Side and Brandeis University in Boston, where he attended as a Leonard Bernstein Scholar, the recipient of a full merit scholarship for violin performance, and studied Political Science, Music, and Theatre Arts. He has won numerous competitions, performed at various venues in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, and studied primarily under the tutelage of a renowned professor at The Juilliard School on the Upper West Side. Dan plays an Italian violin made in 1783 by Giuseppe Odoardi.In addition to real estate and music, Dan has worked as a model in the U.S. and Europe for renowned fashion, commercial, and magazine clients such as Banana Republic, Macy's, Uniqlo, Asos, Nike, Sprite, L'Officiel Paris, and Marie Claire China. Dan is also Founder of Domi Chinrest, which produces innovative memory foam chin and shoulder rests for the violin and viola.Dan's heritage is Taiwanese and South Korean, and he speaks English and Korean. He resides in an industrial loft condo conversion in Long Island City, Queens.
