Originally from Miami, Florida, Janely Amarante came to New York City in 2007 to pursue a career in Fashion. After receiving her Bachelor's degree from Parsons, she went on to work for some of the top names in the industry, like Oscar De La Renta, Marchesa and Mary Kate & Ashley's, "The Row."

While working in Fashion, Janely created a network of friends and business contacts, some of whom worked in Real Estate. After attending a handful of Real Estate open houses and broker parties, she found herself intrigued by the idea of starting her own career in Real Estate.

Janely's mother was an aspiring architect and had a passion for drafting, which allowed Janely to develop a fascination for historical structures and an appreciation for imperfections that in turn give the structure its charming character. This ties in perfectly with her choice to work with properties like the beautiful brownstones in Park Slope to the iconic cast-iron buildings in Soho.

Most people who work with Janely have immediately noticed her attention to detail and how she carefully helps her clients make very important and sometimes challenging decisions, all while making them feel at home. She believes that making a true connection to her clients is her first reward to any relationship and she has years of experience to show for it.

When Janely is not selling beautiful lofts and brownstones, she enjoys hiking, yoga, attending art shows and spending hours at Barnes & Nobles, ... Cats are totally awesome too.
