Born in Tokyo, Japan, Lawrence grew up in a close-knit family and immersed himself in the familial culture that surrounded him. His impeccable code of ethics was derived from his parents who taught him the importance of treating others with respect and the lessons he learned have served him very well.Lawrence and his family lived in Sumatra, Indonesia when he was a young boy, then moved to Hong Kong, Tokyo and Qatar. Throughout these moves, he and his family traveled extensively, visiting some of the world?s most beautiful and cosmopolitan cities--London, Paris, New Delhi, Berlin, Rome, Athens, Istanbul and Sydney--to name a few, but when he found New York, he found his place in the world. His experience with world cultures and education at the prestigious Hill School in Pottstown, Pennsylvania only fueled his commitment to lead a life of purpose. Once he graduated high school, he moved to New York and attended NYU, majoring in Politics. Although he?s a Philadelphia 76ers fan, he?s slowly warming to the New York Knicks, but we don?t hold that against him.One of Lawrence?s mottos is ?By doing the right thing, wealth, in all forms will follow.? That mantra appears to be working quite well for him. He is a resident and board member of his condo building located in Manhattan?s Central Park South neighborhood.
