About Lisa Ortiz-Rodriguez, CRS, CBR, CDPE, CIAS, CNE, GPS,
Lisa Ortiz-Rodriguez brings more then 20 years of legal and real estate experience to the table. She began her career in 1993 in the Corporation Counsel?s Office for the City of Chicago working in the Tort as well as the Finance and Economic Development Divisions. Her final position was in the Drug and Gang House Enforcement Section dealing with quality of life issues for neighborhoods within the City of Chicago. In her spare time she volunteered with The City of Chicago Volunteer Legal Services doing intake consultations for clients with problems ranging from landlord tenant issues to bankruptcy issues.
In 1997 she came to New York City for a position in the General Counsel?s Office of the largest urban university in the country. She successfully negotiated hundreds of contracts between the University and outside agencies. These contracts allowed students to complete clinical internships at health care facilities all over the country. Lisa continued her volunteer work with The Association of the Bar of the City of New York Pro Bono Project representing homeless families in hearings in regards to their housing issues.
In 2003 Lisa decided to bring her negotiation skills to the real estate field. She?s dually licensed with Keller Williams NYC and as a Broker Associate with Keller Williams Realty Premier Properties in Summit, NJ. Lisa?s legal background coupled with strong negotiation skills have helped her successfully meet and exceed her client?s expectations. It?s not only her business philosophy, but also a commitment to provide you with exemplary personalized service beyond your expectations. Lisa?s other passions include traveling, skydiving, zip lining, scuba diving, swimming, horseback riding, working out, salsa and flamenco dancing.
