CEO of award winning team, The Cohen Group NYC, Sharon Cohen is a real estate broker who specializes in Brooklyn Prime locations and is credited as the first agent from Keller Williams to expand in the Brooklyn market. In 2014 she produced $40 million in sales volume and is on track to double that number in 2015 with the expansion of her team.

Originally from Israel and after living in Europe for a period of time, Sharon moved to New York in 1993. She graduated from Parsons School Of Design with a BA in Fine Arts. Sharon began operating in real estate as an investor.

Sharon?s personal experience and knowledge of investment properties informs the way she guides her clients through transactions as she draws from her familiarity with all of the considerations and milestones of a real estate purchase.

Sharon is dual licensed with Keller Williams NYC as well as Keller Williams Landmark II Queens, which expands her coverage area to both locations.

Being the president of the condo board of the Landmark building in the West Village has given her practical knowledge of how to manage a property.

She currently owns several properties in Manhattan, Brooklyn and New Jersey and owns and operates a private property management company.

Sharon specializes in "short sales" and "distress properties", helping owners who are about to loose their homes find solutions tailored to their unique situations. She holds a title as a certified SFR: Short sales and Foreclosures Resource, certified CDPE: Certified Distressed Property Expert as well as CBR: Certified Buyers Specialist.
