Presidio, across from the bustling city of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, is a rapidly growing port city with growth potential. Because of it's fairly isolated, it does not suffer the problems of other border cities. It has a low crime rate (almost no property crime and no crimes on persons) The principle employers are the School system and the Federal Government, and a misc. of government agencies. Close to Big Bend Ranch State Park, Chinati Natural area, Ft Leaton State Park, and the city of Ojinaga. Ojinaga is a city of around 50,000 people, has many restaurants and many grocery store and supermarket. It also sports the nearest hospital, relatively new, clean and very inexpensive (typically 10th of what we would have to pay in the hospital that serves our area, Big Bend Medical center, some 90 miles away in Alpine Tx. We do have an excellent clinic which features full time dentist and a rotation of doctors associated with BBMC. our population is over 5000 people and rapidly growing. This is a centrally located tract . We Had an engineering report, commissioned some 15 years ago, the owner is looking for a copy. It platted over 115; 50ft wide lots, these lots would sell today for around $22,000 each. These well placed and centrally located lots are between the city of Presidio recreational property, the Middle school; three blocks from the grade school complex, and 9 blocks from the High School complex.
